Skywoods Supports the Spirit of Adventure at The Camel Trophy Sulawesi Tribute 2024

Officially flagged off in Jakarta by Tourism Minister Sandiaga Uno, the expedition covered approximately 2,000 to 2,500 kilometers, beginning in Makassar, passing through the mountainous region of Toraja, and concluding in Manado, in the Likupang area.

Throughout the journey, participants faced demanding terrain, from steep mountain trails and rocky inclines to muddy tracks, river crossings, and dense tropical rainforests. With elevations reaching approximately 2,300 meters above sea level before descending toward coastal areas, the expedition tested not only the endurance of the teams but also the reliability of their vehicles and equipment.

The journey featured iconic Land Rover vehicles in the classic Sandglow yellow livery, paying tribute to the heritage of the original Camel Trophy and its reputation for challenging expeditions in some of the world’s most demanding environments.

As a supporting brand, Skywoods was thankful to contribute its outdoor lighting solutions to this memorable adventure. Known for its high-performance tactical, diving, and outdoor adventure lighting products, Skywoods shares the expedition’s commitment to durability, preparedness, and dependable performance in challenging conditions.

During the expedition, reliable lighting played an important role in nighttime vehicle repairs, navigating low-visibility surroundings, and establishing campsites after long days on the trail. Skywoods’ tactical flashlights and rugged outdoor lanterns were suited to these practical needs, helping support the teams as they managed the demands of the journey.

For Skywoods, being part of The Camel Trophy Sulawesi Tribute 2024 was more than supporting an off-road expedition. It was an opportunity to stand alongside individuals who value resilience, teamwork, and a deep respect for the outdoors.

We are grateful to have been part of an expedition that celebrates the enduring spirit of adventure and the legacy of the Camel Trophy. Supporting the teams through dependable lighting solutions reflects our commitment to developing products for people who explore, work, and push forward in demanding environments.

Skywoods extends its appreciation to the organizers, participants, and everyone involved in making the expedition possible. Their dedication and teamwork helped bring this tribute to life and honor a remarkable chapter in off-road adventure history.
